Kishor Biyani set up Future Capital Holdings Ltd in October 2005. April 2006, it became a subsidiary of Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd. Company went public in August 2006. In December 2006 company was renamed as Future Capital Holdings Ltd. In Nov 2012, the name of the company was changed to Capital First Ltd after the new management came in.
